Starting out

I've recently been hired as a reference and information literacy librarian at Trinity Western University in Langley. I'm planning on using this blog to toss around some of the issues that are part of information literacy and how we will deal with them as we wrestle with the best way of upgrading our information literacy instruction here at Trinity.

I say "we" because I'll be working with a most capable colleague -- Bill Badke, who has written the book (literally) on information literacy in his book Research Strategies: Finding Your Way Through the Information Fog.
